Company Profile

Shamrock Septic Service has been in business since 1974. A gentleman named Al Armstrong started the company. He and his wife, Elsie, provided an excellent service until he retired 1989 and sold us the business.

We, Bruce and Diane Wise, became the new owners. Almost at once, we realized that there was very little information about septic systems available to the general public. Most people believed that the septic system never needed to be pumped out. Well, we now know this is not true. So, we set out to provide, not only the best service possible, but also the most up to date information.

In September of 1990, we attended the first meeting of the O.S.L.W.C.A, the Ontario Sewage & Liquid Waste Carriers Association. We joined this organization, which promoted the general welfare of the sewage industry while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility. In 1998, the name of the association was changed to O.A.S.I.S, the Ontario Association of Sewage Industry Services. We attend annual conferences where we share information and find out what's new in the industry. Being a member of O.A.S.I.S. has allowed us to provide our customers with a higher quality of service by our being better informed.

Shamrock Septic Service serves Peterborough, Bridgenorth, Ennismore, Lakefield and other Kawartha Lakes Communities. We now have two trucks, with capacities of 2200 and 3600 gallons, to better serve a variety of situations. Our workforce includes Bruce Wise who drives and serves our customers in the field, as well as Diane and Jeni Wise who look after the office and the phones.

We hope this web site will provide the kind of information you are looking for. If you have any other questions, just contact us and we will look into getting you an answer!
